Delete your TalkingRoo account
TalkingRoo's conversations and everything it remembers about you live only on your phone, and are gone the moment you uninstall the app. This page removes the account details stored on our server.
What happens to your data
- What we delete: your name, email, phone number, date of birth, school or coaching-centre link, any parent-consent record, your progress scores, leaderboard entry and app usage events, and any web coach balance.
- When: deletions made inside the app (Profile → "Delete my account") are immediate. Requests made through this web form are completed within 7 days, and removed from our backups within 30 days.
- What we keep: nothing in TalkingRoo's own systems. If you bought web coaching time, our payment processor (Stripe) keeps its record of that payment as the law requires. Your conversations and everything Roo remembers never leave your phone, so they are only ever stored on your own device.
Still have the app installed? Open TalkingRoo → Profile → "Delete my account" for instant deletion. This web form is for when the app is no longer on your phone.
